Katalyst on Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Bubblers
International tastemaker Gilles Peterson has been feeling Katalysts new album. Giving it high rotation on his weekly show. He’s even licensed “How Bout Us” featuring Steve Spacek for his upcoming Brownswood compilation Bubblers three. The comp is due out August 11th. Heres the blurb “Gilles Peterson does it again - and blows our mind with an array of future-sounding grooves! As with the previous titles on Petersons Brownswood label, the music here often defies style or label - completely inventive work that points the way to a new generation of expression in modern music - pulled up from the roots of older jazz, soul, dub, and hip hop - and fused into new modes, new sounds that are completely sublime!”
Another great Katalyst/Stephanie Mckay collaboration! Jackson Ave gets played on BBC
The lead single from Stephanie McKays long awaited 2nd album is a tune called Jackson Ave. After the success of previous colaborations such as “Say What You Feel” Katalyst was called in to produce the single for her new album entitled Tell It Like It Is out soon. The single has received rave reviews and has been enjoying radio play on some of the biggest shows around including Jo Whiley’s show on BBC’s Radio 1
and Trevor Nelson’s show on BBC 2, UKs most listened to radio station! They are currently working on a new album together that will be finished before the end of 08. Keep your ears out for that one as its sure to make some more waves around the globe.

Stylewars 2008
Stylewars is on again this year - come down to Falls Creek August 24th-28th and check out some the worlds best snowboarders and hip hop
artists. Last year this event made some big waves (and even bigger jumps) and this year will be no exception. So if your thinking about hitting the slopes, this is the week to
do it. Performances during the week from Katalyst featuring Ru C.L and Steve Spacek. Also during the week will be Scribe and Bliss N Eso.
