Released: 2005
Fresh out the box - Katalyst drops another "must have". This time round its a compilation - DUSTED - featuring some of his favourite tunes mixed in for what is already gathering momentum as one of the dopest selections put together in a long while. Note for DJ's - you'll be glad to hear the 16-track double vinyl is unmixed.
Out4Fame Review
This double CD compilation of chill out Hip Hop is simply must have. Hip Hop classics like "Check The Rhime" by Tribe Called Quest, and "Uzi" by Wu Tang blend with laid back alternative joints by Portishead and The Meters. The only word to desicribe this collection is eclectic. Katalyst, The DJ behind the CD notes all the material gathered on this compilation comes from vinyl records - so any surface noise you might hear isnt a manufacturing fault...Everything about this CD screams classic - from the tracks to the fact that he's used vinyl recordings, to the smallest details in the design of the package. If you are a fan of the 90-94 shit and have an open mind for music I guarantee you'll dig this.
